These terms govern use of the Nodus Edu platform and the website nodusedu.com, operated by Nodus Technologies Private Limited ("Nodus", "we", "us"). By using the platform you agree to these terms. A school's pilot or subscription agreement is a separate signed contract and, where it differs, that signed agreement prevails.
Nodus Edu is provided to schools. A school enters into an agreement with us and is our customer. Staff, parents and students access the platform through accounts issued by that school, and their use is subject to both these terms and the school's own policies. If a school's agreement with us differs from these terms, that signed agreement prevails.
All data a school enters or uploads (students, staff, marks, attendance, fees and related records) remains the property of that school. We claim no ownership over it. We process it only to provide the service, on the school's instructions, as described in our Privacy Policy.
On the end of a school's engagement, the school may request its data, and we will return or delete it in line with the agreement and applicable law.
Nodus does not receive, hold, or transmit school fee money. Where a school uses the fee module, payments made by parents are paid to the school's own bank account, whether recorded at the school office or made through the school's own payment provider. Nodus records the transaction and issues a receipt; the funds never pass through Nodus.
Responsibility for fee amounts, concessions, receipts issued, refunds, and any dispute with a parent about fees rests with the school.
Charges for the Nodus Edu service, any trial period, and payment terms are set out in the agreement signed with each school. Charges are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Where a free trial is offered, it carries no obligation to continue.
We work to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be notified where reasonably possible. Support is provided as set out in the school's agreement, through info@nodusedu.com and the contact channels published to the school.

The Nodus Edu platform, its software, design, and the Nodus name and marks are owned by Nodus Technologies Private Limited. Use of the service grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for the school's own operations for the term of the agreement. No other rights are granted.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in connection with the service is limited to the charges paid by the school for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim. The school remains responsible for the accuracy of its own records and for decisions taken on the basis of them.
Either party may end the agreement in accordance with its terms. We may suspend the service for non-payment, for a serious breach of these terms, or where continued access presents a security risk. We will give reasonable notice where it is practical and safe to do so, and we will make the school's data available to it on termination.
We continue to develop the platform and may add, change, or withdraw features. We will not make a change that materially reduces the core service during a paid term without notice. We may update these terms, and will post the updated version here with a revised date.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
